The annual Greeno/Dirksen collegiate meet is Saturday, 9/18 at the Mahoney Park Golf Course in Lincoln. The women run the 5k at 9:00 and the men run the 8k at 9:45. Co-host Wesleyan provided the 27 teams that are registered for the race, and the schools (ranging from JUCO to NAIA through D-1) and are listed below. In addition to the 12 in-state teams, we should get a chance to see former Nebraska HS athletes competing for a number of other schools. I've already seen Iowa, Creighton and Iowa Central (all pictured above) in action this year, and they'll be the meet on Saturday.
