Folks, a simply running story from little ol' Nebraska went viral, and it found its way to an NBC editor. Ten days after Brandon Schutt helped Blake Cerveny cross the finish line at the District meet, the NBC Nightly News featured their story on 10/24/21:
I couldn't be more proud of Brandon that day, or how the boys handled themselves during the NBC interviews. They are truly class acts.
